New Clients Troy Animal Hospital opened in the summer of 1976, and it has been growing ever since. It is one of the few AAHA certified (American Animal Hospital Association) hospitals in Miami County. Dr. Lonnie Davis is a board-certified specialist for dogs and cats, and is the hospital's founder. Dr. Julie Peterson joined the practice in August of 1995. Our clients love her gentle way with animals and special interest in birds, reptiles and other exotics. All of us at Troy Animal Hospital are just like you---people who are genuinely interested in keeping pets as healthy and long-lived as possible. We have learned something very interesting from our clients. Although most wanted to do what was in their pet's best interest, most didn't realize the serious illnesses that could result if even a single preventative measure was overlooked. Dr. Davis and Dr. Peterson are veterinarians who truly understand the strength of the human/pet relationship. At this office, pets are considered family members and are treated as if they were our own. We take every measure to ensure that each visit is as comfortable and cheerful as possible for your special friend.
